9. En let goed op: als ze de weg inslaan naar haar eigen grondgebied, naar Bet-Semes, dan is het de HEER die ons dit grote onheil heeft aangedaan; gebeurt dat niet, dan weten wij dat het niet zijn hand was die ons heeft getroffen, maar dat het ons bij toeval is overkomen.'
