25. David zei tegen de bode: `Zeg tegen Joab: "Trek u dit voorval maar niet al te erg aan; het zwaard verslindt nu deze, dan weer die. Zet de strijd tegen de stad krachtig voort en maak haar met de grond gelijk." Zo moet u hem moed inspreken.'
