21. Achitofel zei tegen Absalom: `U moet naar de bijvrouwen van uw vader gaan, die hij heeft achtergelaten om toezicht te houden op het paleis. Als de Israëlieten horen dat u zich bij uw vader onmogelijk hebt gemaakt, zullen al uw aanhangers daardoor aangemoedigd worden.'
