12. Maar toen David hoorde dat de HEER de familie van Obed-Edom en heel zijn bezit gezegend had, omdat de ark van God daar stond, ging hij erheen en bracht de ark van God uit het huis van Obed-Edom vol vreugde naar de Davidsstad over.
