5. Nu waren er dat jaar twee oudsten uit het volk tot rechters aangesteld. Voor hen gold wat de Heer gezegd heeft: `De goddeloosheid is in Babel begonnen bij de oudsten die rechters waren en slechts deden alsof ze het volk bestuurden.'
