10. De priesters die de ark van het verbond droegen, bleven midden in de Jordaan staan tot alles uitgevoerd was wat Jozua, in opdracht van de HEER en overeenkomstig zijn aanstelling door Mozes, aan het volk had bevolen. Het volk trok haastig naar de overkant.
