13. Bagoas ging van Holofernes naar Judit en zei tegen haar: `Laat de schone jongedame niet aarzelen om naar mijn heer te komen, om vandaag in zijn tegenwoordigheid gevierd te worden, en vrolijk met ons wijn te drinken zoals een van de Assyrische meisjes in het huis van Nebukadnessar.'
