18. Da tok Asa alt det sølv og gull som var tilbake i skattkammerne i Herrens hus, og likeså skattene i kongens hus og overgav dem til sine tjenere; så sendte kong Asa dem til Benhadad, kongen i Syria, som bodde i Damaskus og var sønn til Tabrimmon, Hesjons sønn, med de ord:
