5. Siden samlet Amasja Juda og stilte dem op efter deres familier under høvedsmennene over tusen og høvedsmennene over hundre i hele Juda og Benjamin; han mønstret dem fra tyveårsalderen og opover, og han fant ut at det var tre hundre tusen utvalgte stridsdyktige menn, som kunde føre spyd og skjold.
