17. Han skrev også et brev for å håne Herren, Israels Gud, og tale mot ham; i det stod det: Likesom folkenes guder rundt om i landene ikke har reddet sine folk av min hånd, således skal heller ikke Esekias' Gud redde sitt folk av min hånd.
