18. Da tok Judas konge Joas alle de hellige ting som hans fedre Josafat og Joram og Akasja, Judas konger, hadde helliget, og dem han selv hadde helliget, og alt det gull som fantes i skattkammerne i Herrens hus og i kongens hus, og sendte det til Syrias konge Hasael. Da drog han bort og gikk ikke mot Jerusalem.
