31. Og folket som bodde der, førte han ut og la dem under sager og treskesleder av jern og jernøkser og lot dem gå gjennem teglovner. Så gjorde han med alle Ammons barns byer. Derefter vendte David og alt folket tilbake til Jerusalem.
