43. Men Israels menn svarte Judas menn således: Ti ganger større del enn I har vi i den som er konge, og således også i David; hvorfor har I da ringeaktet oss? Og var det ikke vi som først talte om å hente vår konge tilbake? Men Judas menns svar var enda hårdere enn det Israels menn hadde talt.
