8. De var nettop kommet til den store sten ved Gibeon, da kom Amasa imot dem. Joab hadde på sig kappen som var hans vanlige drakt, og utenpå den et belte med et sverd i skjeden, fastbundet over hans lender, og da han gikk frem, falt det ut.
