24. Så gikk da Daniel inn til Arjok, som kongen hadde gitt pålegg om å drepe Babels vismenn; han kom og sa til ham: Drep ikke Babels vismenn! Før mig inn til kongen! Så vil jeg kunngjøre kongen uttydningen.
