13. Han fortalte sin hustru Seres og alle sine venner alt det som hadde hendt ham; da sa hans vismenn og hans hustru Seres til ham: Hvis Mordekai, som du har begynt å stå tilbake for, er av jødisk ætt, da formår du intet mot ham, men vil komme til å stå aldeles tilbake for ham.
