13. Men Israels hus var gjenstridig mot mig i ørkenen; de fulgte ikke mine bud og forkastet mine lover, enda det menneske som holder dem, får leve ved dem, og mine sabbater vanhelliget de grovelig. Da sa jeg at jeg vilde utøse min harme over dem i ørkenen og gjøre ende på dem.
