8. Men de var gjenstridige mot mig og vilde ikke høre på mig; de kastet ikke bort de vederstyggeligheter som deres øine hang ved, og forlot ikke Egyptens motbydelige avguder. Da sa jeg at jeg vilde utøse min harme over dem, fullbyrde min vrede på dem midt i Egyptens land.
