11. Også alle de jøder som var i Moab og iblandt Ammons barn og i Edom, og de som var i alle andre land, hørte at Babels konge hadde latt en rest av folket bli tilbake i Juda, og at han hadde satt Gedalja, sønn av Akikam, Safans sønn, over dem.
