8. Så gjorde mennene sig rede og gikk; og da de drog avsted, bød Josva dem å skrive op alt det de så i landet; han sa: Gå avsted og dra omkring i landet og skriv op alt det I ser der, og kom så tilbake til mig! Så vil jeg kaste lodd for eder for Herrens åsyn her i Silo.
