26. Dengang lot Josva folket sverge denne ed: Forbannet for Herrens åsyn være den mann som tar sig fore å bygge op igjen denne by Jeriko! Når han legger dens grunnvoll, skal det koste ham hans førstefødte sønn, og når han setter op dens porter, skal det koste ham hans yngste.
