9. Derfor, så sant jeg lever, sier Herren, hærskarenes Gud, Israels Gud, skal det gå Moab som Sodoma og Ammons barn som Gomorra: De skal bli neslers eie og en saltgrube og en ørken til evig tid; resten av mitt folk skal plyndre dem; de som blir igjen av mitt folk, skal ta dem i eie.
