7. Og han tok et par okser og hugg dem i stykker og sendte stykkene om i hele Israels land med sendebudene og lot si: Den som ikke drar ut efter Saul og Samuel, med hans okser skal det gjøres likedan. Da falt det en redsel fra Herren over folket, og de drog ut som en mann.
