21. Og Herren sendte en engel som tilintetgjorde alle de djerve stridsmenn og fyrstene og høvedsmennene i assyrerkongens leir, så han med skam måtte vende tilbake til sitt land. Og da han engang gikk inn i sin guds hus, kom nogen av hans egne sønner og hugg ham ned der med sverdet.
