4. Jonatan, Sauls sønn, hadde en sønn som var lam i begge føtter; han var fem år gammel da tidenden om Saul og Jonatan kom fra Jisre'el, og den kvinne som passet ham, tok ham og flyktet; men idet hun skyndte sig avsted, falt han ned og blev lam. Hans navn var Mefiboset*.
