Og kvar finst det på jordi eit einaste folk som Israel, folket ditt? - eit folk som Gud sjølv kom og løyste ut, so det skulde vera hans eige folk; det gjorde du av di du vilde vinna eit namn med store og agelege verk, med di du dreiv ut heidningfolk for ditt folk skuld, det som du fria ut or Egyptar-land.
