11. Og ho gjorde ein lovnad og sa: Herre, du allhers Gud! Vil du venda augo til tenestkvinna di i hennar naud og koma meg i hug og ikkje gløyma tenestkvinna di, men lata tenestkvinna di få ein son, so vil eg gjeva han til Herren for alle hans levedagar, og aldri skal det koma rakekniv på hovudet hans.
