11. Dagen etter skipa Saul folket i tri hopar, og fyrstundes i otta braut dei seg inn i lægret og hogg ned ammonitane, og dei heldt ikkje upp fyrr det leid til høgstdags. Dei som var att, vart spreidde vida ikring - det vart ikkje att tvo mann på ein stad.
