7. Han tok tvo uksar og luta dei upp og sende lutene kring i heile Israels-riket med bodberarane, som skulde segja: So skal dei gjera med uksane åt den som ikkje fylgjer Saul og Samuel i striden, Då kom det ein otte frå Herren yver folket, og dei drog ut alle som ein.
