32. Absalom svara: Du veit eg sende bod til deg og bad deg koma hit, so eg kunde få deg til å ganga til kongen og segja han frå meg: Kvifor kom eg heim frå Gesur? Det vøre betre for meg um eg var der enno. Og no vil eg få te meg fram for kongen; er eg saka i noko brot, so fær han drepa meg.
