7. Og no hev heile ætti reist seg mot tenestkvinna di og segjer: Kom hit med han som slo bror sin i hel! Me vil taka hans liv for livet åt bror hans som han drap; so fær me med same rudt ervingen or vegen. Soleis kjem dei til å sløkkja den siste glodi eg hev att, so det vert heiltupp ute med namnet og ætti åt mannen min på jordi.
