17. Då Farao hadde gjeve folket lov til å fara, so førde Gud dei ikkje på den vegen som bar til Filistar-landet, endå det var den næmaste; for han tenkte dei kunde koma til å angra seg når dei møtte ufred, og so fara attende til Egyptar-land.
