26. Var det ikkje med sovore Salomo forsynda seg, han som var Israels konge? Millom dei mange folki fanst det ingen konge som han, og hans Gud hadde han kjær og sette han til konge yver heile Israel; men endå fekk dei framande kvinnone lokka han til å synda.
