18. Det som vart tillaga for kvar dag, var ein ukse og seks utvalde sauer, umfram fuglar; alt dette kosta eg sjølv, og ein gong tiande kvar dag dessutan nøgdi av allslags vin. Like vel kravde eg ikkje den kosten som landshovdingen hadde rett til; for arbeidet låg tungt på dette folket.
