Respondeu Aquis aos príncipes dos filisteus: Não é este Davi, o servo de Saul, rei de Israel, que esteve comigo há muitos dias ou anos? E coisa nenhuma achei contra ele desde o dia em que, tendo desertado, passou para mim, até ao dia de hoje.
