1. Reina o SENHOR. Revestiu-se de majestade; de poder se revestiu o SENHOR e se cingiu. Firmou o mundo, que não vacila.
  
2. Desde a antiguidade, está firme o teu trono; tu és desde a eternidade.
  
3. Levantam os rios, ó SENHOR, levantam os rios o seu bramido; levantam os rios o seu fragor.
  
4. Mas o SENHOR nas alturas é mais poderoso do que o bramido das grandes águas, do que os poderosos vagalhões do mar.
  
5. Fidelíssimos são os teus testemunhos; à tua casa convém a santidade, SENHOR, para todo o sempre.
