45. Porém o povo disse a Saul: Morrerá Jônatas, que efetuou tão grande salvação em Israel? Nunca tal suceda. Vive o SENHOR, que não lhe há de cair no chão um só cabelo da sua cabeça! Pois com Deus fez isso, hoje. Assim, o povo livrou a Jônatas, para que não morresse.
