45. Porém o povo disse a Saul: Morrerá Jônatas, que efetuou tamanha salvação em Israel? Tal não suceda. Tão certo como vive o SENHOR, não lhe há de cair no chão um só cabelo da cabeça! Pois foi com Deus que fez isso, hoje. Assim, o povo salvou a Jônatas, para que não morresse.
