Depois, falou assim à assembleia de todos os israelitas: "Se vos parecer bem e for do agrado do Senhor, nosso Deus, vamos mandar avisar sem demora os nossos compatriotas, que ficaram nas diversas regiões de Israel, especialmente sacerdotes e levitas que se encontram nas suas cidades e respectivas aldeias, para se virem juntar a nós.
