13. O rei Roboão fortaleceu o seu poder e reinou em Jerusalém. Tinha quarenta e um anos, quando subiu ao trono e reinou dezassete anos nesta cidade que o Senhor tinha escolhido em todo o território de Israel, para fazer dela o seu santuário. A mãe de Roboão foi Naamá, natural de Amon.
