20. Jorão tinha subido ao trono aos trinta e dois anos de idade e reinou em Jerusalém oito anos. Partiu sem deixar saudades. Ninguém chorou por ele ter morrido. Foi sepultado na cidade de David, mas não ficou nos túmulos reais.
