12. Mais tarde, foram dizer ao rei David que o Senhor tinha abençoado Obed-Edom, toda a sua família e todos os seus bens, por causa da arca da aliança. Então, David, cheio de alegria, foi à casa de Obed-Edom buscar a arca da aliança do Senhor e levá-la para a cidade de David.
