13. Todavia, mesmo no deserto, os israelitas se revoltaram contra mim. Transgrediram as minhas leis e rejeitaram os meus mandamentos, que dão vida a quem os cumpre. Também profanaram os meus sábados. Cheguei a querer fazer-lhes sentir o peso da minha indignação, ali mesmo no deserto, e a destruí-los.
