5. Antes de Jeremias ter respondido, Nebuzaradan acrescentou: "Volta para junto de Godolias, filho de Aicam e neto de Chafan, a quem o rei da Babilónia fez governador das cidades de Judá. Podes ficar com ele e habitar junto do povo, ou ir para onde desejares." Seguidamente deu-me um presente e comida, para levar comigo, e deixou-me ir em liberdade.
