8. Para lá do Jordão, a oriente de Jericó, escolheram, no planalto desértico, a cidade de Becer da tribo de Rúben. Na região de Guilead, escolheram Ramot da tribo de Gad e, nas terras de Basã, escolheram Golã, que pertencia à tribo de Manassés.
