19. Nişte oameni din Manase s-au unit cu David, când a pornit cu război împotriva lui Saul cu Filistenii. Dar n-au fost de ajutor Filistenilor; căci, după ce s-au sfătuit, domnii Filistenilor au trimis înapoi pe David, zicând: S-ar putea ca el să treacă de partea stăpânului său Saul, şi să ne pună astfel în primejdie capetele noastre.
