39. David a aflat că murise Nabal, şi a zis: Binecuvântat să fie Domnul, că mi-a apărat pricina în ocara pe care mi-a făcut-o Nabal, şi a împiedicat pe robul său să facă rău! Domnul a făcut ca răutatea lui Nabal să cadă asupra capului lui. David a trimis vorba Abigailei că vrea s-o ia de nevastă.
