5. Împăratul a dat următoarea poruncă lui Ioab, lui Abişai şi lui Itai: Pentru dragostea pe care o aveţi faţă de mine, purtaţi-vă blând cu tânărul Absalom! Şi tot poporul a auzit porunca împăratului, dată tuturor căpeteniilor cu privire la Absalom.
