8. Abner s-a mâniat foarte rău de cuvintele lui Iş-Boşet, şi a răspuns: Oare cap de câine sunt eu, şi ţin cu Iuda? Eu dau astăzi dovadă de bunăvoinţă faţă de casa tatălui tău Saul, faţă de fraţii şi prietenii lui, nu te-am dat în mâinile lui David, şi astăzi îmi bagi vină pentru un păcat făcut cu femeia aceasta?
