14. Se ducea seara; şi a doua zi dimineaţa trecea în a doua casă a femeilor, sub privegherea lui Şaaşgaz, famenul împăratului şi păzitorul ţiitoarelor împăratului. Nu se mai întorcea la împărat, decât când ar fi dorit împăratul şi ar fi chemat-o pe nume.
